He was predeceased by : his wife Ruth Beach Beasley; his parents, Milton E. Beasley, Sr. and Frances M. Beasley; his brother William Beasley (Billy); and his great grandchild Joey Thornton.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Alix Rasmussen (Paul) and Tommy Rasmussen (Leanna); his great grandchild Roriegh V. Thornton; his brother Harry M. Beasley; and his pets, Lily and Rivvets.
