Eugene M. Sprouse Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene M. Sprouse of Craigsville, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tarrif and Vera Ann Massie Sprouse; his former wife Dora Lee Campbell Sprouse; and his siblings, William Lynwood, Nelson Leo, Sylvester Williamson "Red", Hersey Michael Sprouse, Clara Louise Nycum and Juanita Christine Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Lucinda "Cindy" Kay Campbell Sprouse; his children, Debbie Swisher (Denver), Larry Eugene Sprouse, Dennis Sprouse (Remy), Steve Sprouse (May), Eugene "Gene" Sprouse, Jr. (Jennifer) and Jason Sprouse; his stepson Aaron Campbell; and his siblings, Lula Weeks, Vivian Dunsmore, Doris Wright and Fred Sprouse. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Estaline Chapel and Cemetery for the upkeep of the grounds (1718 Estaline Valley Road, Craigsville, VA 24430).
