He was predeceased by: his parents, William Madison and Prince Anna "Boots" Cassell; and his siblings, Ann Holmes and Ricky Cassell. He is survived by: his wife Lela Delores Smythers Cassell; his daughters, Gwen Redfern (James), Kim Redford (Todd) and Jennifer Jackson (Michael); his grandchildren, Amanda Willett (James), Carter Redford, Faith Jackson, Madison Redfern and Michelle Jackson; and his great grandchild Grace Willett.
