She was predeceased by: her parents, George Irby Mayton and Mary Luvenia Edmonds Mayton; her daughter Nancy Etta Jenkins; and her grandchild Angel Paige Jenkins. She is survived by: her grandson Joseph Patt Barnett III; her children, Brenda Clark Atkins (Noel), Diane E. Clark and Ricky A. Clark (Liz); and her cousin Sylvia Abernathy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home (110 E 5th Ave, Kenbridge, VA 23944). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Jonesboro Baptist Church Cemetery (1955 Jonesboro Rd, Kenbridge, VA 23944).
