We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Richard C. Shorter Sr. of Crewe, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Shirley; and his parents, Judy Shorter and Jerry Shorter. He is survived by : his children, Debra Berryman (Bart) and Richard Charles Shorter (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Shirley Mercier (Arville), Phyllis Farleigh and Jesse "Bo" Bishop; his grandchildren, Jacob, Alyssa Berryman, Olivia, Cullen Shorter, Brandon, Brittany Mercier and Falon Newton; and his brothers, Bill Shorter (Jane) and Edward Shorter (Meshiel). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nottoway Cares, P.O. Box 45, Crewe, VA 23930.
