With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Glen Hanks Jr. of Crewe, Virginia, born in Victoria, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Hurt Hanks and Robert Hanks, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Ola Church Hanks; his sons, Robbie (Melinda) and Bradley (Sheri); his siblings, Jean Camacho, Peggy Eutsler, Linda Bass (Tommy), Ron Hanks (Beverly) and Rick Hanks (Kathy); his grandchildren, Brian (Kate), Colton (Amanda), Thomas, Ethan, Evie, Clara and Audrey; and his great grandchildren, Hayley, Claire, Grayson, Caden and Noah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Gideon's International or the Crewe Baptist Church Choir.
