He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Rice and Dorothy Rice. He is survived by: his wife Emily Blevins Rice; his children, Tangie Womack (Tim) of Mechanicsville and Patrick Rice (Rosemary) of Beaverdam; his siblings, Kitty Dews (Chuck) and Ronnie Rice (Sandy) of Crewe, VA.; and his grandchildren, Luke Womack, Daniel Womack (Kayla), Seth Womack, Hannah Rice and Aaron Rice.
