With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Dodson (Crewe, Virginia), born in Annapolis, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 76. He is survived by: his sister Carole Bryant; his nieces, Anna Cox and Joy Sleeper; his nephew Gordon Bryant; and his cousins, Frances Daniel of Providence, NC, Rachel, Jackie Womack of Danville, VA, Mark Barksdale of Keysville, VA, Christine Peeler of Greer, SC, Margo Cardellino of Mt. Airy, MD, Gordon Jeter, Leslie McCann of Walker, LA, Irene Lewis of Ambler, PA, Oleg, Eugene Nawalkowsky and Marsha Barksdale of Paces, VA. He is also survived by 25 great-nieces and nephews, and 19 great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Crewe Baptist Church Mission Fund would be appreciated.
