It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Abshire of Crimora, Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Abshire and Beulah Abshire. He is survived by: his wife Donna Abshire; his children, Teena Hall, Doug Abshire, Donetta Boothe, Jarrod Abshire, Philip Hall, Gretchen Abshire, Patrick Boothe and Pam Abshire; his grandchildren, Justena, Hunter, Sammantha, Tucker, Carlee, Emileann, Micah and Jacob; his siblings, Hellen "Sis" Parr and Freddy Abshire; and his close friend Jason Dunn. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
