She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Lee Carter and Mary Carter (Bailey); her husband Russell Charles Bayne, Sr.; her daughter Joyce Elder (Roy); her stepdaughter Vicki Cason; her stepgranddaughter Amy Drumheller; and her great grandchild Cameron.
She is survived by: her sons, Les Bayne (Linda), Dennis Bayne (Jennifer) and Cliff Bayne (Teresa); her stepsons, Doug and Butch Bayne; and her daughters, Kathy Webster (Pete), Bonnie Knight (Rocky), Lisa Quattro (Steve) and Teresa Rohm (Jerry). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McDow Funeral Home (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverview Cemetery (420 Rosser Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
