It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Lynn Landis of Crimora, Virginia, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Viands and Thelma "Kyger" Viands Shifflett; and her siblings, Bonnie Gibson and Erby Viands. She is survived by: her husband Tony Landis; her children, Laurie Shifflett-Bryan (Eugene), Wayne Shifflett (Jennifer), James Shifflett (Sabrina), Corey Simmons (Lee Anne) and Kellen Landis (Carrie); her siblings, Wayne Viands, Jay Viands, Timmy Viands, Bobby Viands, Connie Shifflett, Denise Warlitner, Becky Foltz and Rachel Viands; and her parents-in-law, Roy and Susie Landis. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Elkton (115 Nicholson Rd, Elkton, VA 22827).
