She was predeceased by: her father James Henry Smith, II; and her son Ryan Almarode. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Smith (Hunter); her daughters, Sydney P. Friend (Andrew) of Charlottesville and Erin Kerby of West Virginia; her brother James Henry Smith, III of Staunton; and her grandchild Archer Friend.
