In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Wayne's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lloyd Turner and Irene Augusta Turner (Buddenhagen); and his sister Linda Courtright. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Turner (Kelley) and Lauri Mattucci; his sister Sandra Post; and his grandchildren, Jillian Turner and Mackenzie Turner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (201 Dogwood Ave, Grottoes, VA 24441).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wayne's memory to Hospice of the Shenandoah.
