Daphne leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Daphne’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd William and Mary Margaret Porter Carpenter; her husband James Jaquelin "Jack" Crosswell, Sr.; and her stepdaughter Anna Christy Williams. She is survived by: her brother Loyd William "Bill" Carpenter (Beth Painter) of Cripple Creek; her niece Kim Carpenter Colvin of Winnsboro, SC; her nephews, Steve Carpenter (Sue) of Rural Retreat and Terry Carpenter (Kristi Kornahrens) of Fort Mill, SC; and her stepson James Jaquelin Crosswell, Jr. of Morehead City, NC. She is also survived by several step grand-children, cousins, friends and her beloved cats.
