He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Marshall, Jr. and Frances Caroline Davis Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Marshall; his children, James Richard Marshall and Angela Jill of Cripple Creek; his son-in-law Danny Arnold of Cripple Creek; his grandsons, Zach Arnold and Jonathan Arnold; his great grandchildren, Fox Arnold, Jolene Rose and Josie Rose; and his sisters, Carolyn Cox of Rural Retreat and Debbie Willard of Rural Retreat.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barnett Funeral Home (325 Church St, Wytheville, VA 24382). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Crockett Cemetery.
