It is with sadness that the passing of Jane Audrey Lamp of Cross Junction, Virginia is shared. Jane, born on January 5, 1939, passed away on October 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Jane will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Jane by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Jane is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Jane’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Donald and James Donald; her husband Glen Hall Lamp; and her siblings, Helen Richard (Charles), Sue Lewis (Phil) and David Donald Sr. (Mary).
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Helen Hoover. She is also survived by her family, friends, and good neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the Mount Hebron Cemetery (305 E Boscawen St, Winchester, VA 22601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reynolds Store Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company or Gainesboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company.
