Ralph I. Kerns Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph I. Kerns of Cross Junction, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving B. Kerns and Reva Luttrell Kerns; his wife Phyllis Marie McCoy Kerns; his granddaughter Miranda Kerns; and his siblings, Wayne Kerns and Judy Harmison.
He is survived by: his children, Stanley R. Kerns of Cross Junction, VA, Rodney Lopp (Kathy) of Cross Junction, VA, Shelley McCarty (Donnie) of Cross Junction, VA, Lori McCarty (JJ) of Cross Junction, VA and Cheryl DeHaven of White Post, VA; and his siblings, R. Dale Kerns of Cross Junction, VA, Dorothy Tinsman of Hedgesville, WV, Nona Smith of Winchester, VA, Jean Gentry of Cross Junction, VA and Mary Wine of Cross Junction, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous bonus great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
