She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marion R. Oliver and Ida Revels Oliver; her husband David T. Braithwaite, Sr.; her daughter Darlene Cole of Cross Junction, VA; her stepson David T. Braithwaite, Jr. (Irina) of Cross Junction, VA; her sister Ellie Knight of Hayfield, VA; her grandchildren, Angela Cole (Dalton), Matthew Cole (Summer), Jonathan (Ashley), Shenandoah, Nicholas and Michael Brathwaite; and her great grandchildren, Carter, Alex, Leo, Kaiya, Hazel and Zachary.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (864 Redland Rd, Cross Junction, VA 22625). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
