He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Tappan and Frances Roush; and his brother Donald. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Tappan (Rogers); his sister Molly (Mary); his sons, Jonathan, Aaron (Mary) and Joshua (Susan); his grandchildren, Ryan, Katherine, Alexander, Clare, Eliza and Lydia; and also Lydia (Gabriel Tappan).
