He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Floyd and Edith Morris Shifflett; his wife Joyce Wood Shifflett (Bert); his son Ronald Lee Shifflett Jr. (Hank); his children-in-law, Jimmie Rosson Sr. and Pam Shifflett; his siblings, Marshall, Jacob Shifflett and Carolyn Shifflett; and his pets, Christy and Mindy.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Allen Shifflett (Greg), Timothy Wayne Shifflett (Buck), Elizabeth S. (Runt) and Tammy S. Seal (Dougie); his grandsons, Jimmie (Jimbo), Kevin Rosson, Douglas Seal III and Cory Shifflett; his great grandchildren, Katelynn Rosson (Corey Bosselman), Alicia Vestal (Justin), Emaleigh Rosson and Wyatt Rosson; his great great grandchildren, Jackson, Nora Bosselman, Olivia and Eliza Vestal; and his siblings, Elsie Bryant, Stella Roach, Joyce Thompson (Tommy), Margie Sims, Doris Brown, Judy Shifflett, Wanda Snead (Buddy), Glenda Tate, Brenda Small (Dougie Pugh), Sandy Morris (James), Charles Shifflett and Michael Shifflett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel (5888 St George Ave, Crozet, VA 22932).
