He was predeceased by: his father Guy Larry Brown. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Brown and Kira Lilly (Douglas); his grandchildren, Nathan and Olivia Lilly; his sisters, Susan Allen (George) and Kathy Jasien (William); Kelley Critzer Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions, if desired, be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), Hospice of the Piedmont, or the Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) General Scholarship Fund, honoring Steve's deep appreciation for education and his father's 28 years of service to PVCC.
