With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Curtis Brooking of Culpeper, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred and Linwood. He is survived by: his wife Odile; his sons, Richard (Tanya), Mark and Phillip; his grandchildren, Morgan Byrd (Charles), Brittani Tharp, Blake, Mason and Matthew Brooking; his great grandchildren, Hadley, Avery and Dewey Byrd; and his sister Anne Brooking Stelter.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in his honor to Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West Street, Culpeper, VA 22701 and/or VBH Foundation 12425 Village Loop PO BOX 191, Culpeper, VA 22701.
