He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dennis Crist, Jr. and Hazel Earline Crist (Faulconer). He is survived by: his wife Maritza Vasquez Escobar; his brothers, Stephen "Steve" Crist (Elizabeth "Beep" Crist) and Charles "Chuck" Crist (Jonna Crist); his children, Patricia "Mickey" Crist, Kelly Crist (Christopher Miller), Dennis Crist (Elizabeth Crist), Virginia Scruggs (Anthony Scruggs), Cindy Marie Crist and Angie Crist Vasquez; and his nieces, Jennifer, Danielle, Melissa and April.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186).
In lieu of flowers—which Eddie did not like—the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue, honoring his lifelong love for dogs (notably Dixie, Rebel, Heidi, Chance, and Maya).
