She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Irmischer and Elisabeth Irmischer; and her siblings, Walter, Rudolf, Dieter Irmischer and Elke Irmischer Kyff.
She is survived by: her husband George DeSerres; her nieces and nephews, Wendy, Julie, Krista, Johnny, Eric, Karen and Betsy; and her stepson Jean-Paul DeSerres.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Home of Marcy Edwards and Mike McClary (11373 Fox Hill Rd, Culpeper, VA 22701).
