She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace Hitt and Minnie Ryder Hitt; her husband Lewis Shelton Roberts; her daughter Carolyn Roberts Davies; and her brother Charles Hitt.

She is survived by : her sons, Gary Steven Roberts (Bernice), Lewis Gregory Roberts (Beatrice) and Kevin Ray Roberts (Michelle); her grandsons, Jeremy Kevin (Christy) and Steven Byram Roberts; and her great grandchild Alleigh Rose Roberts.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Culpeper National Cemetery (501 E Chandler St, Culpeper, VA 22701).
