James Elmer Raehn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2025, James Elmer Raehn (Culpeper, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judith A. Graff (Bill), Ronald W. Raehn (Val) and Patricia Ann McCauley (Robert A., Sr.); his uncles, Marcus P. Raehn, Walter J. Raehn, Francis Corcoran, Laurence Corcoran and Robert Corcoran; and his brother-in-law Robert McCauley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marilyn Carr (Joe), Richard Raehn and Thomas Raehn (Carol); his wife Jane; his children, James Michael (Maria), Mary J. Lindsey (Matthew) and David Aaron (Patricia); his grandchildren, Joseph Lindsey, Christie Lindsey (Hailey), Dylan Raehn, Anna Rose Hare, David A. Raehn II (Andrea), James Austin Raehn, Adeline N. Martin (D'Angelo), Joseph Alexander Raehn and Dawson Raehn; and his great grandchildren, Aryanna Raehn, Gunner Raehn, Christopher A. Raehn, James P. Raehn, Arlo and Kaladin Martin.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (114 E Edmondson St, Culpeper, VA 22701). A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Culpeper National Cemetery (305 U. s. Ave, Culpeper, VA 22701).
