It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Mason Stanley of Culpeper, Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Stanley and Lena Stanley; his grandson Jesse Wells; his sisters, Louise Vest, Diane Switzer, Joy McComb, Hazel Stanley and Phyllis Stanley; and his brother-in-law Bill Vest.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda "Sue" Burdette Stanley; his children, Debby Stanley Huffman (Robert), Randy Stanley (Drema), Jerry "Sonny" Stanley, II (Jamie), Laura Stanley Wells, Allen and Sissy Stanley Hoffman (Donald); his grandchildren, Mason Stanley (Marla), Grace Stanley Groves (Baden), Lydia Stanley, Rachel Clouser (Addison Clouser), Brande Wells Roberts (Josh), Samantha Wells of Aaron, Gehrig Barlow, Joseph Barlow, Kendal Barlow Richey (Evan), Jeremy Stanley, Candice Stanley-Wolfe (Shawn) and Melinda Huffman; his great grandchildren, Bryce Wolfe, Eli Wolfe, Maddie Stanley, Morgan Stanley and Max Stanley; his siblings, Junior Stanley (Gaby) and Bobbie Montgomery (Jettie); and his brother-in-law Elwood Switzer.
