We announce the death of Linwood J. Imlay of Culpeper, Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan T. Imlay and Mildred Brown Imlay of George's County, MD; his wife Marlene N. Imlay; his siblings, John Imlay and Mildred Embree-Wieser; and his brother-in-law Paul Wieser.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Imlay (Sharon) and Diana Imlay; and his sister-in-law Carol Imlay. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery (6262 Hoover Rd, Reva, VA 22735).
