With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret G Loyd of Culpeper, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack C. Gibson and Evelyn Simmons Gibson Young; her husband Charles E. Loyd, Jr.; and her siblings, Jimmy Gibson and Pamela Young Wheeling.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Loyd Anderson (Darien) and Charles Kevin Loyd (Margarita); her grandsons, Zachary (Helen) and Bradley; her stepgrandchildren, Caterine, Nuria and Heriberto; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabella, Julianna, Pablo, Juliette, Aida and Julian; her brother Robert Young, Sr.; and her half-sister Paula Ellis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapels & Cremation Service (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Daleville Cemetery (945 Roanoke Rd, Daleville, VA 24083).
