She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William Thompson and Mary Pettitt Thompson; her sister Linda Hooker; and her brothers-in-law, Donald McNey and William Deane.
She is survived by: her husband John McNey; her children, John C McNey (Trina), Brandie White and Brent McNey (Alicia); her sisters, Sandra Deane and Georgette Gore (Landon); and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Deshazo (Jim) and Robert McNey (Sharon). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Clore-English Funeral Home (11190 James Monroe Hwy, Culpeper, VA 22701).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Culpeper County Animal Shelter in memory of Robin McNey.
