She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sheppard and Marie Sheppard; and her siblings, James Sheppard, Clarence Sheppard, Wilbur Sheppard, John Sheppard, Anita Sheppard Bland, Ethel Sheppard Brown, Yvonne Sheppard Long, Mami Sheppard and Sarah White.
She is survived by: her daughter Arlena Lewis; her stepson Tyrone Rice; her granddaughters, Tiesha Lawson and Mallory Scott; her great grandchildren, Riley Lawson and Noah Deane Lawson; her sister Louise Sheppard Neal; and her close friend Cynthia Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rising Zion Baptist Church (18168 Springs Rd, Jeffersonton, VA 22724). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Shepherd Family Cemetery (6263 Myers Mill Rd, Jeffersonton, VA 22724).
