She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Hatcher Jackson and Ernest Lee Jackson; her husband Lucious Woodson Sr.; and her siblings, Ernest Jackson and Mary Trent.

She is survived by: her children, Lucious Woodson Jr., Brenda Moore (Angelo), Cynthia Woodson, Daphne Evans (Kevin), Wayne Woodson Sr., Cheryl Woodson (Louis) and Bruce Woodson; her grandchildren, Charla, Kenneth, Javonda, Brandon, LaCat Hughes (Joshua), Angela, Shavon, Branden (Donte), Jermon, Olivia, Wayne Jr., Tatyana, TreyVon, DaVonte, Antione and Brycen; her siblings, Mattie Hatcher, Helena Jackson, James (Everlyn), Ervin (Cynthia) and MacArthur Jackson; her friends, Sandra Carter, Louise Chapman, Cornelius Thomas and Barbara Hall; Robert Trent. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home (64 Cartersville Rd, Cumberland, VA 23040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (283 Sugarfork Rd, Cumberland, VA 23040).
