He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Amos Brown; his wife Mildred; and his siblings, Carl Dickerson Brown, Jr. and Carol Jean Barker. He is survived by: his father Carl Dickerson Brown, Sr.; his children, Tamara (Charles), Thomas Jr. (Clariest), John (Tammie) and Carl; his grandchildren, Patrick (Courtney), Natalie (Ryan), Hope (Dalton), Tamara, Kelley, Mallory and Emma; and his great grandchildren, McKenna, Jackson, Evelyn, Malachi, Declan and Koren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Puckett Funeral Home (115 Covington Ct, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Memorial Baptist Church (14 Fitzgerald Rd, Cumberland, VA 23040).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fitzgerald Memorial Baptist Church in Cumberland.
