It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Ferguson of Daleville, Virginia, born in Winnsboro, South Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ernest shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ernest farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Pendleton Ferguson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Claire Brett Ferguson; his mother Betty Ann Ferguson; his sister Louise Ferguson Deahl (Eric); his sister-in-law Paige Falls Bouy (Mark); and his nieces, Erica Deahl, Emily Deahl, Savannah Falls and Hope Shreve (Nate).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (2712 Brandon Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24015). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, New York City.
