She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edgar and Mary Helen Manuel. She is survived by: her son Gary Lynn Smith; her brothers, Bobby, John and Mark Manuel; her children, Steve Lewis (Barbara), Philip Lewis (Deltha), Rick Smith (Vickie) and Debra Gifford; and her siblings, Ray Manuel, Edna Roberts, Helen Greene and Judy Bishop. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren but also the many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Garrett Funeral Home (203 N Shady Ave, Damascus, VA 24236). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (26397 Denton Valley Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211). A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the same location.
