He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Richard McCrady, Sr. and Dorothy Virginia Berry; and his stepfather C. C. Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Kris (Danielle) and Valerie; his siblings, Patty (Harvey Clark) and Charlie McCrady; and his sister-in-law Shelby Blevins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Frost Funeral Home & Cremation Services (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (21674 Monroe Rd, Damascus, VA 24236).
He was currently Vice Chairman of the Veteran Memorial Park Foundation of Abingdon/Washington County.
