We bid farewell to Janet McTyre of Damascus, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Janet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parent Lt Colonel James Jennings; and her husband Benjamin McTyre. She is survived by: her parent-in-law Ralphaleta; her sister Marsha Meyer (Jim); and her children, Marsha Powers (Wayne), Robert "Bill" McTyre (Kim), Jeffrey McTyre (Dione) and Kelley Pruett (Ben). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
