Rebecca Ann Proffitt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2025, at the age of 81, Rebecca Ann Proffitt of Damascus, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rebecca Ann Proffitt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Didier C. Pfalzgraf and Mary Ann Robertson Pfalzgraf; her husband Bill L. Proffitt; and her sisters, Carolyn Goad and Mary Munday.

She is survived by: her children, Charles T. Proffitt (Hope) and Mary R. Proffitt; her grandchildren, Rebecca L. Simoni (Justin), Amanda M. Proffitt, Connor C. Proffitt and Chase P. Proffitt; her great grandchildren, Sherrod J. Ware, Jasmine M. Simoni, Joelle R. Simoni and Jeremiah M. Simoni; and her siblings, Betty Marshall (Ronnie) and Didier C. "Dion" Pfalzgraf, Jr. (Alice). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many close friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Garrett Funeral Home (203 N Shady Ave, Damascus, VA 24236). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Cove Baptist Church Cemetery (31024 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Damascus, VA 24236).
