He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Widener and Mary Ellen Eggers Widener; and his siblings, Patsy Rice and Ed Widener. He is survived by: his wife Mary Roberts Widener; and his children, Maurice Widener (Pat) and Valorie Widener.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel, Knollkreg Cemetery, Abingdon.
