He is survived by: his wife Dana Holbrook Proffitt; his children, John Proffitt, Michael James Proffitt (Cat) and Michelle Mullins (Bryan); his grandchildren, Summer Shields, Harper Mullins, Hollie Mullins, Brayden Green and Bryson Mullins; his sisters, Cheryl Daniels and Charma Casteel; and his nephew Daniel Tuell.
