He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerldine James (Watkins) and Ernest Johnson; and his siblings, James Watkins, Sr. and Mary Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Denise Watkins (Crawford); his son Albert Watkins, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; his stepchildren, Samuel Crawford (Jamillia) of Darby, PA, Terrance Hardman (Brenda) of Sicklerville, NJ and Chiquita Hardman of Sharon Hill, PA; his grandson Dashon Dennis-Watkins of Philadelphia, PA; his sisters, Erma (Watkins) and Osborne (Willie) of Danville, VA; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Watkins of Aylett, VA, Chiquita Eton of Delaware and Charisse Myers (Briton) of Delaware; his nieces and nephews, Shelia Watkins of Yeadon, PA, James Watkins, Jr. (Tamika) of Folcroft, PA, Darrell Watkins (Terrell) of West Point, VA, Diana Williamson of Delaware, Kimberly Johnson of Manasses, VA, Bonita Stewart (Phillip) of McDonough, GA and Tosha Boxley (Myone) of Virginia Beach, VA; his brothers, Raymond Quillen, Marvin Battles, Marvin Armstead and Anthony Purde; and his awesome barber Lou. He is also survived by ten other grandsons and nine granddaughters and six great great grandchildren.

They spent most every Saturday morning together in the field ministry along with Stanley Hariston and Reginald Bailey, these brothers took runs picking each other up and enjoying their time together in the ministry each week until the Covid-19 Pandemic hit our community and everyone went on lockdown with the rest of the world.
