He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastasia Mykicz Podobinski and Alexander Podobinski Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Scearce Podobinski; his children, Wylanta J. Podobinski of Raleigh, NC and Alexander Podobinski III (Randi) of Willow Spring, NC; his brother William Podobinski (Donna) of Pittsburgh, PA; his stepson Chris Doolin; his grandchildren, Justin Tew, Kyle Tew and Bryce Podobinski; and his cousins, Leo and Amy Elter.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Timberlake Baptist Church Building Fund at 356 Lindhurst Drive, Danville, VA 24540.
