It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amanda White of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Amanda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Amanda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry T. Fitzgerald and Sally McCain Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Barbara Fitzgerald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
