It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Hodges Parrish of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Ann's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Ann's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parent Radah Pruitt Hodges Chism; her stepfather Ernest Chism; her husband W. Kermit Parrish; and her daughter Pamela Kaye Parrish. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda P. McGee of New Bern, NC; her sister Liz Lewis of Chatham; and her sister-in-law Betty Stump of Ringgold. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Unity Presbyterian Church, 835 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540 or to God's Pit Crew, 2499 North Main Street, Danville, VA 24540.
