She was predeceased by: her parents, A. B. Roach and Macey Owens Roach; her husband W. S. Cahill, Jr. (Bill); and her half-sister Frances Bier. She is survived by: her children, Marcia Cahill Dalton (Tom), William Thomas Cahill (Tammy Albright-Coreil) and Louis Saunders Cahill (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Janice Ricketts Cahill; her grandchildren, Anne Kathryn Dalton and Bryan Thomas Dalton; and her friend Mary Anne Hodge.
