In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward and Lillian McNichols Farthing of Danville, VA.; and her siblings, Lester Leon Farthing, Joseph Edward Farthing and Mary Ellen Tomb.
She is survived by: her friends, Sheila Campbell and Sharon Mclaughlin; Tracy, Brittany, Amanda and Faith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
