She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Vassar and Viola Ridgeway Vassar; her husband Roger Dale Burke; her son David Allen Burke; and her brothers, Ray Vassar and Donald Vassar.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Wayne Burke, Steven Ray Burke (Cindy) and Donald Christopher Burke. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
