He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith Parrish; his stepmother Cathy Parrish; his siblings, Glenda Parrish Simpson of Burlington, NC, John Parrish of Dry Fork, VA, Wesley Parrish of Dry Fork, VA and Stacy Parrish Wells of Danville, VA; his daughter Renee Gilbert; his son-in-law Tim Gilbert of Martinsville, VA; his daughter Brandi Parrish Rhue of Danville, VA; his grandchildren, Madison Rhue, Eva Rhue and Tyler Hearp; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Hearp and Colson Hearp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
