She was predeceased by: her parents, Hester Fitzgerald and Cornelia Stone Fitzgerald; her husband John Thomas; her son Ronald Thomas; and her siblings, Mary Fitzgerald, Luberta Carter, Lizzy Motley, Mattie Crews, Martha Scates, Rosa Medley, Geneva Echols, Irene Bennett Dorothy Thomas, Lilly Kirby, James Fitzgerald, William Fitzgerald, David Fitzgerald and Bud Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Annie Turner (Eddie) of Danville, VA, John Thomas (Belinda) of Danville, VA, Larry Thomas (Cynthia) of Ridgeway, VA, Donald Thomas (Felicia) of Axton, VA, Michael Thomas (Mary) of Greensboro, NC and Lisa Thomas Blackwell of Eden, NC; her brothers, Jessie Fitzgerald of Danville, VA and John Fitzgerald (Lillie) of Chatham, VA; and her daughter-in-law Phyllis Thomas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
