She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas O. Biggs and Ellen M. Biggs; and her husband James P. Short, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, James P. Short, Jr. (Donna) of Indian Trail, NC and Terry L. Short (Debbie) of Fort Mill, SC; and her brother Douglas Biggs (Ina) of Valrico, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
